Dr. Cindy M. Dela Cruz-Ochoa · Assistant Professor IV
Hospitality & Tourism Learning Resource Hub
I believe that education should empower students to apply knowledge beyond the classroom. My teaching methods include experiential learning, discussions, case studies, collaborative activities, and real-world applications to promote active participation and critical thinking.
“Empowering minds, engaging communities, and creating meaningful change.”
This course aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills to recognize, assess, and apply quality management processes within hospitality and tourism organizations. Students will learn to evaluate departmental operations and planning strategies, with an emphasis on improving service quality and organizational effectiveness.
This course is focused on the design and control of the production process, as well as the reinvention of business operations in the production of goods or services. It involves responsibility in ensuring that business operations are efficient in terms of using as few resources as possible while also meeting customer requirements effectively. It is concerned with the whole management of a production or service system, which is the process of converting inputs (raw materials, labor, consumers, and energy) into outputs (goods and/or services for consumers).
